Arrivals and Airport Transfers

Gatwick Airport is 30 minutes away and Heathrow Airport is one hour away.

We operate a safe, friendly and convenient ‘meet and greet’ service from Gatwick and Heathrow airports and from London St Pancras International station to Sevenoaks. Once students have collected their luggage someone will be waiting for them in arrivals, holding a branded sign with their name.

On departure, we will help students to check in, ensure they know their gate number and accompany them to the security gate.

The Airport Transfer Service is free for arrivals and departures between the hours of 09.00 and 17.00. We recommend flights and transfers are booked as early as possible.

If you would prefer to bring your child to Sevenoaks yourself, or collect them at the end of the course, you are very welcome to do so. We would be happy to meet you and give you a tour of the school on arrival or departure.

ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES DAY

The first and last days of our courses are dedicated to arriving to and departing from the school.

We ask students to please arrive between 11:00 and 15:00 UK time on arrivals day (1 or 16 July), and depart between 09:00 and 12:00 UK time on departures day (15 or 30 July).

ARRIVing / departing out of hours

For students wishing to arrive or depart outside of the advertised hours, we ask that families contact us with the estimated time to check this is possible. For airport transfers, these will be unsupervised (using an approved taxi service arranged by the Summer School). The driver will not accompany your child out of / into the airport terminal. If this service is required, an additional £75 each way will be charged. For students travelling as an unaccompanied minor, there will be an additional fee of £75 each way.

travelling by train

Sevenoaks train station is a 20 minute walk from the School. There will be a minibus shuttle service between 11:00 and 15:00 UK time on arrivals day (1 or 16 July), and depart between 09:00 and 12:00 UK time on departures day (15 or 30 July). If travelling outside of that time, we recommend arranging a taxi using Beeline Taxis.
