About Us
Staff
The Summer Programmes are delivered by a diverse team of staff from across Sevenoaks School, with the Senior Leadership Team overseeing development throughout the year. By working closely with current teaching staff, Old Sennockians and current students, we create a programme rooted in the real Sevenoaks experience. This blend of perspectives offers students an engaging and genuine introduction to academic life and boarding at Sevenoaks.

Teaching Staff
At Summer Programmes, all courses are taught in‑house by current Sevenoaks School teachers. Each course is designed and written by our staff, drawing on their subject expertise, professional experience, and commitment to high‑quality education. This ensures that students receive engaging, academically rigorous teaching that reflects the standards and ethos of Sevenoaks School.
The Summer Programme provides students with a genuine insight into the school’s culture, expectations, and learning environment. Our teachers are friendly, knowledgeable, and deeply familiar with the day‑to‑day life of the school, allowing them to guide students with authenticity and care. Through their support, students gain a meaningful introduction to what a Sevenoaks education is like and whether it is the right fit for them.

Activity Leaders
The Activity Leaders are the heart of the Summer Programme experience. They are made up of former Sevenoaks School students (Old Sennockians) and changes every year. They play a huge role in the running of the programme including welcoming the students on their first day, chaperoning groups on the excursions and teaching them their co-curricular activities. They are a friendly face for students to confide in and are responsible for making the Summer Programmes as fun and memorable for everyone.
We focus on ensuring the Activity Leaders working on the programme are a mix of different year groups up to five years after leaving Sevenoaks. This mix enables a broad and authentic insight into life at the school and means the students have a mentor throughout their stay.
