Innovation and Enterprise

Innovation and Enterprise is an academic enrichment course for senior students who are ready to think creatively, work independently and respond thoughtfully to real-world problems. The programme will introduce students to design thinking, entrepreneurship, and the practical skills needed to develop ideas fit for the future.

Design Challenge

Students will begin with a short design challenge before progressing to a major project of their own. By practising the Double Diamond process, they will learn how to research a problem, define an opportunity, develop possible solutions, and refine their final outcome.

Project

As their projects take shape, students will explore key enterprise principles including accounting, marketing, strategy, and presentation. These will be taught through first-hand practice, allowing students to understand how strong ideas are tested, shaped, and communicated.

In a future increasingly influenced by technology, artificial intelligence, and global change, this course will help students build the confidence, judgement, and practical skills to navigate uncertainty with creativity and enterprise.
